Every Baby Deserves Love and Safety!
What we do:
Daily Acts of Grace. Weekly Lifelines. Ongoing Hope.
At Baby G Safe Haven, we live out our mission through practical, compassionate action—every day of the week. Our work centers on providing critical support for foster homes, struggling mothers, and families in crisis. Rooted in faith and driven by community generosity, we bridge the gap between need and hope.
Weekly Food Distribution – Tuesdays Are Blessing Days
Every Tuesday, we collect food donations from a generous partner. That same day, our team sorts and packs food parcels, which we then distribute to:
- 6 vetted foster homes
- Families in crisis
- Mothers with newborns
This weekly initiative ensures that no child or caregiver goes to bed hungry.
Support for Foster Homes & Places of Safety
We currently assist 6 foster homes with ongoing donations of:
- Clothing (infants to teens)
- Diapers & baby formula
- Food & hygiene products
- Blankets, shoes, and basic essentials
These homes are a lifeline to children who’ve experienced abandonment, abuse, or neglect, and we work to ensure they’re supported and equipped with what they need.
Newborn Baby Bags for Moms in Need
We provide Baby G Newborn Bags for moms who have just given birth and lack support. Each bag is filled with hospital-ready essentials, including:
- Diapers
- Newborn clothing
- Blankets
- Toiletries
- Bottles and basic supplies
These bags offer dignity, comfort, and encouragement during what is often a frightening time.
Counseling & Emotional Support for Mothers
Many of the mothers we help are alone—without family, finances, or support. We offer online counseling, faith-based encouragement, and practical help to guide them through decisions around pregnancy, birth, and motherhood. Our support is nonjudgmental, confidential, and filled with grace.
Clothing & Essentials for Families in Need
Thanks to ongoing donations, we provide secondhand clothing, shoes, and blankets to families facing financial hardship. These distributions help children stay warm and clothed throughout the year and restore a sense of dignity to struggling caregivers.
How You Can Help
- Donate: Food, formula, clothes (new or gently used), diapers, hygiene items
- Volunteer: Help sort, pack, or deliver weekly donations
- Sponsor a Baby Bag: A R350-R500 donation can supply one full newborn care bag
- Pray: Cover our team, our babies, and our families in prayer
Every day we show up with grace. Every week we extend hope. Every life we touch is a testimony of God’s love in action.
From our hearts to their homes— Baby G Safe Haven is committed to being there when it matters most.
A Personal Message from Us to You:
We are a foster parents of abandoned and abused babies. I am not employed, I pour my whole life into caring and nurturing our babies. Our toddlers go to creche. We would love to raise funds for a new home. Renting a home is one of our greatest expenses. Our dream is to own a home where we can continue to care for these babies.
We do everything we can to raise funds for their school fees, milk and nappies as well as healthy meals. We also help moms who’ve lost their jobs for various reasons or have been unable to find jobs. Many mothers can’t afford to buy clothing for their babies.
We would love to raise funds for our babies and help children who can’t afford school uniforms and stationery. We believe all children need to be loved and taken care of.
We appreciate any assistance with the following items:
- Transportation ,
- Nutritious Food,
- Outdoor Games and
- Best Care.
